There is currently a delicate work of underwater survey of one of the symbols of Venice, the Rialto Bridge, which at this time is monitored by various specialists in order to prepare a restoration project of the Municipality of Venice, funded by the holding Otb. The work will be divided into several phases: underwater cleaning of the vestments of the bridge and the neighboring shores and their detailed survey, construction of trenches dug at the base of the foundation to learn about their current state of preservation through dimensional measurements, photographs and video underwater feed into technical drawings and multimedia that will document the exact condition of the bridge foundations.
The specialty of the activities performed in a place so special and famous has called the attention of the Press and the various networks that have visited the site during the work.
